We are having a SPECIAL Thanksgiving Celebration with other 4Corners across SoCal in Irvine! Join us this Sunday for a special Thanksgiving message, traditional American thanksgiving dinner, and some fun/silly/hilarious performances 😂😂😂 We'll have rides leaving De Neve Turnaround Sunday 11/18 at 2:45pm. Please let a staff know if you're interested in joining us!
Join us as we look at "What Does the Bible Say About: Giving Thanks?" We'll be at Ackerman Viewpoint Conference Room (A Level, same floor as Carl's Jr) at 7pm. We'll start with free dinner 🍱 as usual, and maybe have some awesome desserts after! 🍰
Gospel Talks is a special event hosted by our friends from our UC Irvine 4Corners branch! It will feature talks, panel discussions, and poster sessions about various topics like:
"What does it look like to be a Christian?"
"Can a scientist believe in God?"
"What does a Christian marriage look like?"
and more! Most exciting of all, the event will have two tracks: one entirely in Mandarin Chinese and one in English.
This is a special event for all 4Corners students across Southern California, and is a unique opportunity to ask questions in Chinese and even speak to other international students from UCI, UCSD, USC, CSUF, and CSULB about their own faith journeys.
It will be Sunday, November 4 from 10am-2pm, with lunch provided. Rides will be provided from UCLA De Neve Turnaround at 9am, and we’ll return to UCLA around 4pm.
Our friend Professor Kit Ng who teaches Biology at Biola University will be giving a special talk on "Am I More than a Brain?" In his talk, he will make the case how science and philosophy argues that we are not simply a bunch of neurons firing together but something much more. It's a really interesting and thought-stimulating talk, so make sure you join us on this Friday! We start with free dinner at 7pm!
For this week, 4Corners will be at Kaplan Hall A51 (formerly Humanities Building) starting with a yummy Korean-style dinner! We'll be studying and discussing the Bible together, and afterwards, we'll be getting into the Halloween spirit and carving some pumpkins together 🎃🎃🎃! Hope to see you this Friday at 7pm for a spooky (and fun 😄) time at 4Corners!
Join us for our first special talk of the fall quarter, as we investigate if science and faith can coexist. We'll cover questions like: "How can we determine what is true?", "Can a scientist believe in God?", and "Hasn't science already disproved religion?," and we'll also have an awesome home-cooked meal before and Asian desserts afterwards too!
We’ll start with dinner at 7pm at Ackerman Terrace (the outside patio near Panda Express).
Join us for our first 4Corners Friday of the quarter! We’ll start at 6:30pm at Ackerman Terrace (outside Panda Express) with a free Asian dinner, then study and discuss a passage from the Bible together. Afterwards, we'll explore Little Tokyo, one of LA’s most interesting and exciting neighborhoods, and find some awesome desserts! You don’t want to miss it!
Hello all! Sorry for the late notice, but we'll be meeting by lifegroups again tomorrow.

Welcome back from Spring Break, Bruins! This week at 4Corners, we'll actually be hosting a special talk on the question "Do all religions lead to God?" THIS WEDNESDAY at 7:30 PM in Humanities A51. We have a special guest speaker coming all the way from San Diego to give us his perspective on a topic that is so relevant in light of the many religions present in the world today. Hope you can join us!
Happy spring break! This week is actually also a very important week in the Christian calendar known as Passion Week, when Christians take time to reflect on the last days of Jesus. We hope you can join us as we commemorate Jesus' death and resurrection, and what that means personally for us.
We'll be having our Good Friday and Easter services in Irvine, so let your staff know if you'd like to join, so we can work out a ride for you!
Spring Break is coming! In celebration, we'll be taking a one-day trip the Saturday after finals to beautiful, sunny SAN DIEGO! We'll be going on a scenic hike, enjoy SD's famous Mexican cuisine, and, weather permitting, even kayaking! Mark your calendars, or even better, sign up today!
Congrats to those of you who've already made it to Spring Break -- and hang in there to those of you who still have a final or two to go! If you'll be around tomorrow evening, come join us for the last 4C Friday of the spring quarter! We'll be picking up at 5:45 pm from Deneve Turnaround for dinner, and going to Lois and Yang's for some Bible reading about Passion Week - the week leading up to Easter, arguably the most important holiday on the Christian calendar. Let your staff know if you'd like to join!
Each year, 4Corners celebrates Valentine's Day in a special way: by visiting local nursing homes and bringing some love and cheer to people who often are neglected, forgotten, and alone. If you're free next Wednesday, we invite you to come join us in sharing God's love with others!
This weekend, many of us will be away at the International Student Winter Retreat (sign up if you haven't yet!), but if you're sticking around and would like to join us for Sunday service, we'll be meeting together with the rest of our churches in SoCal in Irvine. Pickups will be at 12:30pm from De Neve Turnaround.
Just wanted to announce something very special coming up that you may have already heard of. It's our first ever all-SoCal international student winter retreat! What is that exactly? It'll be a weekend where we get away to our church's Sky Mountain Camp and spend some time having fun, eating good food, and hearing a lot of interesting talks about Christianity. I heard we'll have some engaging workshops on topics like Science and Faith and the Existence of God, and some panels too with current Christian international students! It's not too late to sign up - use the link below to access the signup page, which even has a neat teaser video to show off Sky Mountain Camp!
This week, we will not be meeting for our usual 4Corners Friday. So if you come to the SAC at 6:30...we won't be there. That's because this weekend, we'll be joining with the rest of our church for our annual Thanksgiving Retreat! We'll be joining other branches of our church in the SoCal region in Yorba Linda for a time of giving thanks to God for all the ways he's been working through our church over the years. If you want to join us, it's not too late! Just let one of our staff know that you'd like to sign up.
Want to have a last bit of fun before midterms? Come join us this Saturday as we grab dim sum and check out pedal boating in Echo Park! Never gone pedal boating before? No worries - no experience required!
If you'd like to join, meet us at Deneve Turnaround at 10:30 am this Saturday! Please also bring some cash for the boating and dim sum.
We'll be having our first 4C Friday of the quarter this Friday, starting with dinner at 6:30 pm at Kerckhoff Terrace! That's right outside Moore Hall for those of you who may be wondering where that is. Then, we'll head over to Math Sciences 5147 for our Bible study. Hope you can join us!
Come hang out with 4Corners this weekend and experience one of Southern California's greatest attractions: the beach! We'll get to eat some good seafood, play sports on the sand, and take a hike to a scenic overlook for awesome pictures! If you'd like to join, meet us at De Neve Turnaround at 11:30 AM THIS SATURDAY 9/30!
It's finally here! Tonight is our 4Corners Welcome Night! Come join us at the SAC Basement at 6:30 PM for FREE SICHUAN DINNER and an exciting, engaging program that will introduce you to what 4Corners is all about! I heard we'll even have some ping pong and a smoothie bar after...
Welcome again to all new Bruins! We hope you guys can join us some time throughout this week to hang out and get to know our group at some of the events that we'll be hosting! Definitely save the date for our 4CORNERS WELCOME NIGHT, which will be next Tuesday (9/26) at 6:30 pm at the SAC Basement. It'll be a great introduction to our group, and a lot of fun as well! PLUS free Szechuan dinner - who can resist that??
Looking for something to do as you count down the days to the start of the Fall? Come join us at the SAC Basement (right across from Ackerman) for some shaved ice and boardgames! We'll be there from 7:30-9:30 pm; feel free to drop by whenever throughout the night!
This Friday (9/15), come get to know 4Corners as we check out LA's KTown for some famous all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ! We'll be meeting at 6pm at Deneve Turnaround (outside Deneve, across from the Dashew Center) for rides. Make sure to bring some money for food and, most importantly, your appetite!
