Many of the 4C students and staff have been working hard to plan for the event and come up with the different components like a musical performance and video . Plus, it'll be a great way to recall all the fun and awesome things we did this past year at 4Corners before we all head off for our different summer plans ️️. Afterwards we'll be preparing for our very special Year End Bible study on June 7. We're excited to finish the school year celebrating with some new friends and preparing special elements to share what we learned about Christianity this year!
For this Friday, we will be starting our study into the book of James. Scholars think that this was a letter written by the brother of Jesus and contains practical and useful wisdom for how to live out Christian life. If you would like to join us, we will be meeting at the Student Activities Center (SAC) basement starting with dinner at 7pm!
Also, we're going to go bowling or mini-golfing afterwards!
This week, we are starting a new message series! Previously, we had been studying the life of Abraham and the journey of faith that he took with God, and the lessons that had for our own personal spiritual journeys. Starting this Friday, we will study the book of Proverbs that contains much wisdom applicable in our daily lives.
If you would like to join us, we will be at Ackerman Viewpoint Conference Room but starting with a delicious dinner first at Ackerman Terrace at 7PM. Afterwards, we will have equally awesome desserts and engage in epic cardboard knights competitions!
This Friday, we are venturing across town to USC for a special Bible study. We’ll be combining with USC 4Corners to hear a special Bible study "After Easter: How did the early church begin?". Our regional director will be helping us understand the implications for Jesus' resurrection on early Christianity.

This Sunday we’ll be celebrating Easter, the biggest holiday in the Christian calendar as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection. We’ll be joining other 4Corners across SoCal at UC Irvine, for a special church service, Easter choir, and delicious potluck. Please join us for this special occasion and celebration!

This Friday, Christians around the world will remember the death of Jesus on the cross on Good Friday. Come find out more as we will share why the cross is personal for us. We’ll be joining other 4Corners groups at our church building in Irvine. Rides will be from De Neve Turnaround at 6pm. This week, we will be having a special talk entitled, "The Case for the Resurrection"! Our very own Alex will present the historical evidence for why Christians believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This is the defining event in Christianity that distinguishes Christianity from all other world religions. We'll be having the talk in the Ackerman Viewpoint Conference Room, but starting with free dinner at 7pm at the Ackerman Terrace (tables outside of Panda Express). Afterwards we’ll go Go Kart racing together! Hope you can join us!
Welcome to spring quarter! Join 4Corners this Friday as we begin spring quarter with a special talk on “How Can a Mathematician Believe in God?”. We have a guest speaker with a PhD in Mathematics from UC Riverside who will present evidence for the existence of God and share his journey of faith. We’ll start with a free awesome dinner at 7pm. We have a special volunteer service opportunity coming up this Valentine's Day. Instead of just making the day for ourselves, we want to show God's love to those who rarely receive it on Valentine's Day. So we will be visiting an elderly care home in Santa Monica to bring some joy to the residents there. It will be a meaningful time, so please join us!

We have a special Bible study this coming Friday, with a guest speaker who is a professor from Northern California! Join us as we study the Bible together, with free dinner! Afterwards, we’ll be preparing our special performance for Alex and Christine’s wedding to show our love and appreciation for all they’ve done for us!
Let's welcome the year of the pig! Nelson and Fran want to invite everyone in 4Corners to their home for a Chinese New Year party. After dinner and our Bible Study, we will start off the Chinese New Year Celebration by eating red bean cakes and making some awesome green tea mochi waffles 😋. We'll also have some calligraphy activity so time to warm up your drawing skills!

On Martin Luther King (MLK) weekend (January 19-21), 4Corners UCLA will join other international groups across Southern California for our annual SoCal Winter Retreat! We will spend 2 nights at a beautiful property in Angelus Oaks, CA that’s owned by our church. We will study the Bible together, get to know one another, and play fun games both indoors and outside in the snow! This will be a great chance to learn and understand all about Christianity.
The fee for the retreat is $50. There will be a $5 discount for those who sign up before December 31, 2018! Meals, rides, and lodging will be provided. More information and signup page is available here.
Come check out an awesome multimedia exhibit our church constructed, open this week! Christmas Experience is a multimedia walk-through exhibit, exploring what the true meaning of Christmas is and why the Incarnation is such amazing news. Readings available in English, Chinese, and Korean. The exhibit is self-paced and takes approximately 15-30 mins. We’ll have dinner on the way there, visit the exhibit together, and go out for Asian desserts/boba in Irvine after! Rides will be at 7pm at De Neve Turnaround.
Celebrate the end of finals with a home-cooked meal! We'll have a special Bible study (with cool videos!) on Advent, an important tradition in the Christian calendar related to the anticipation of Jesus' birth. Pickups will be at 6:30pm at De Neve Turnaround.
To celebrate the end of the year, 4Corners will have its annual Christmas Party this Friday in the SAC Basement, starting at 7pm! We'll also have a fun gift exchange and we'll also be making gingerbread houses! If you would like to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a wrapped gift between $5-10, and we hope you can join us for a bit of fun before finals hit!
